Jesus Christ, my mind is confusing Star Trek and Harry Potter. What will be next? Star Wars and Artemis Fowl?

And I thought my father is messed up, when he instead of "Harrison Ford" is saying "Han Solo" and recently he confessed to me that "Kurds" are merging to him with "Cardassians".

I cannot wait for this Picard series--I'm hoping for something with your typical, patented Patrick Steward-powerhouse-acting--along the lines of Logan set in the Star Trek universe...I need the first photos and trailers now!!

I don't want this to be a 'Picard is dying' series, I'd like to see him active and taking the lead

Somebody on YouTube memtioned that April 14th may be the first day of shooting on the Picard series. I can neither confirm this nor shoot it down as an Internet rumor but if true and if Sir Patrick was indeed involved in filming the series yesterday then we've reached an important moment in Trek history.

The return of Jean-Luc Picard may have just happened.

Honestly I cannot figure out how release will happen late this year with filming just starting now. Unless the series has very little CGI and most of the shots have already been rendered.

Battle of Bianry stars was still filming in March and released in September, so I don't see how April->December would struggle

It's also only a 10 episode season instead of a 14 or 15 episode season like Discovery.

Yep. Technology has advanced so much, post doesn't take nearly as long as it used to when setting up composite shots. So long as principal photography goes smoothly without any reshoots, fall release is easily attainable.

They would be profoundly foolish not to show it. Keeping Eaglemoss busy into the next decade!

If the "All Good Things...(TNG)"/"The Visitor(DS9)"/"Endgame(VOY)" uniforms are seen or even used a third of the fanbase will be happy, a third will be mad and a third will march on CBS with torches and jars of badger urine.
