While it doesn't really show much, I'm still surprised we got to see that much. Tony and Pepper reuniting, Tony and Steve reconciling, Nebula and Rocket grieving together, the whole gang in space, and the whole gang confronting Thanos. Wow!

I need this film now!

Woke up this morning to a delightful email from IMAX!

Got our tickets for opening weekend, in glorious 3D.

It shall be epic!

Still no luck with AMC. Fandango says and hour of wait time to get tickets

Yikes!

Luckily I'm an early riser. The email came at 5:03, and we had our seats by 5:20.

IMAX is a little more expensive, but not as much as I thought.

Lol, AMC is down completely. Imax is throwing a sorry page. Fandango is over an hour wait (i closed it, screw it). Regal is working fine but it's not anywhere near me.
I guess this movie is big enough deal to bring down multiple sites :D

Maybe I'll drop by the cinema and try buying tickets in person. I hope their internal systems are not using same APIs as their websites... One time I was able to get a seat map to show, it showed half the seats still available. Lol, no one can get in to even buy the tickets :D

EDIT:
Oh this is hilarious:

If you look on the site, a LOT of related ticket sites are down (movieticket, cinemark...)
What, no one was prepared for this?!

I had those problems with the last two Star Wars releases. Tickets went on sale at night, and the IMAX site crashed both times.

I guess by releasing them early in the AM, it went more smoothly this time.

It’s crazy! Good luck out there.

Bah! Humbug! You can have your Avengers. AMC site came back up for long enough for me to find seats and enter credit card number... which it promptly ignored without any error message and now site is down again. :censored::censored::censored:

The only time I've seen anything like this was for Episodes 7 and 8, and weirdly Avatar (which didn't actually have a huge opening weekend)

My regular Marvel buddy commented on that, and I agree with her reasoning.... That's some pretty intense stuff to show in a trailer; go figure what they AREN'T showing us. ;)

I had a theory.

Looking back at the special look video The Avengers go back in time to Xander before Thano's can get the Power Stone. That is why he's in his armor.

Xander has been decimated but Thano's hasn't gotten the stone yet.

That is also why he teleports down through regular means

Maybe that's why Thanos says in Infinity War

"Stark"

"You know me?"

"I do"

They stop Thanos before he reaches earth which prevents Loki and Gamora from dying

Peter and earth won't know anything so they go about their lives

Thanos - "The work is done. I won. What I'm about to do...I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much.".
This does not put a smile on my face :wah:

Huh, what thing is referring to? His big goal was to half the universe and he's done that. What else does he care about?

While it's cool to see Carol look over the images of the dead Avengers and related personne, isn't kind of meaningless to her since she doesn't know any of them?
