I'm liking this story a lot.
I'm suddenly wondering about the age difference between the Supergirls and the Luthors.
Lena looks at Kara like a friend, but Lex looks at Komrad Kara like a daughter, but the Luthors are almost the same age.
Is Lena almost 50, hanging out with children who are almost 30, because she is too young at heart for her actual contemporaries, like Lois and Cat Grant?
If Otis is kept around for eyecandy, does that make Lex gay?
Despite real life preventing me from returning to the season when it resumed broadcasting back in January, I'm very much looking forward to its likely arrival on Netflix in early June, and am greatly intrigued by the spoilers and recaps that I've been reading and will continue to read as the season concludes over the next month or two, all of which continue to convince me that the series continues to maintain the high level of quality that has up to this point made it my favorite comics-based series ever.
Lena has been confirmed to be in her early 30s, so, as was the case with Cat, Lex is clearly not meant to be as old as the actor portraying him because there is at most a 6-year age difference between him and Lena based on the flashbacks we have previously seen (he appeared to be around 10 when she formally joined the family at age 4).
That....was awful set up of what was supposed to be what's left of a missile strike....
Good catch. Should have thought of that, didn't.Looks like they're combining two comic stories with this with Red Son and Matrix.
Cute!I'm also glad they didn't have him launch the missiles as he would probably just put in the wrong coordinates. Again.![]()
He's a great villain. I only wish we had gotten some flashbacks of him and Superman to see their interactions.
OK, now I feel weird for only chuckling at the 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' bit.I chuckled.
I love how they didn't even bother to show or explain how he did it, because: Lex Luthor. Similarly I like how it's never addressed how he knows Kara's secret identity because again: 9th level intellect. (I mean he probably figured out Clark's a long time ago too, so it's not even much of a leap just from simple deduction.)Lex killing the entire court room was amazing.
