I want to see the Andorian of discovery!

One of the unmade Kelvin universe movies (I can't recall if it was Bob Orci's version of Beyond or SJ Clarkson's ST4) was casting McCoy's ex. Somewhere there's a script gathering dust that probably spells out exactly what happened.

Don't forget Spock's never heard of before daughter! Gotta add something new that makes no sense.

Why would Spock tell anyone he has a daughter any more than he'd tell people who his dad is, that he has a brother or who he dated at the academy?

Spock could have numerous children out there running around, just waiting for the right (or wrong) writer to come along and exploit the idea "Hey! Nothing in canon says Spock has no children!"
I guess it just depends on whether you're cool with them potentially doing that or not. I am - hypothetically. Depends on how it's executed, but I suppose we're all in agreement there.

Great Idea - because as you say there is nothing to stop it and there nearly 70 years where Spock is alive off-screen.

It wasn't Shukar. Same actor, different character.

"I want to see the Andorian of DSC"? :guffaw:

Roll over, Jeff Coombs. Only beginners change species or makeup when doing different characters. I bet Riley Gilchrist was also all the Andorians in the back benches when Burnham gave her speech at the end of S1.

Timo Saloniemi

This particular Andorian Admiral does have the same style of voice Shukar did. Or do all Disco Andorians have Goa'uld voices? Is this the result of their tonsillectomies, or the reason they need one?

I'd rather see a Muslim or Jewish
No. Earth religions have never played a part in characters. Keep them out. All of them.

I'd rather see a Muslim or Jewish
or Transgender character, to be perfectly honest.[/QUOTE]

How do we know that we haven't seen one already?

By the 23rd century with genetic resequnceing and the fact you can make a Klingon into a human......well stands to figure gender reassignment will be more advanced than the patch jobs surgeons do now that (most of the time) badly try and alter outward appearance.
It likely by the 23rd not only would you not be able to tell but even the DNA could be changed so they are genetically females aswell. Or they could directly treat the part of the brain that is throwing off the wrong signals so it correctly matches the body.

But who is to say pike, Kirk or Janeway are not transgendered?
