Tense between Burnham and Spock. Usually, in a scene like this, I take a side. This time I didn't. I was a third party watching in on two points of view I could understand.

Kind of dull, for the most part, but the last 10 minutes really made up for it.
The amazing ending saved it from being a total dud.

    B- overall.

BTW did anyone else expect Spock to "Needs of the many..." Burnham at the end there?

    Almost silent credits.

That was a good episode. Maybe not as good as last week (I wish we had more time with Airiam and I guess she was human who was augmented?) but the ending got to me.

This gets an 8 from me.

The memories of the crew laughing and hanging out together, we need more of that in this series. That scene is one of the reasons why I think the show is failing it's smaller characters and not allowing this crew to be more cohesive.

So the title of the episode was only relevant for the last 5 minutes of the episode

I agree. To some extent. I'm perfectly fine with the show remaining Burnham-centric, but a big reason this doesn't overly resonate with me is that - in the long run - I'm just not that emotionally invested in the character. She's cool and all, but this ultimately 'hurts' about as much as "Skin of Evil."

Speaking of Frakes, I think - moving forward - I'm just going to keep asking why in the hell they didn't just have him direct Nemesis.

That was probably the most tense I've ever been during an episode of Discovery. The show is, like, good? Or something? Now? How did that happen.

"Kill Gary Mitchell. Edith Keeler must die. Open the airlock, Michael." etc.

He's consistent. I'll give him that...;)

Yeah. I mean for Ariam, we hardly knew thee. Also, she and Burham were friends? Since when. I hate when a characters final episode crams in all this development because if she was that important to kill off and give Burnham an emotional response, than she was important to develop for the last season and a half.

So, all that tear jerking over airlocking Ariam & no one even checks on the other girl? Sure glad she didn't suffocate, eh?

Episide good except for that. Did I miss something? That was awful.

I was a bit confused by what was happening towards the end. Let me see if I understand. Control was inside Airiam and when it learned that Discovery had all the information from the sphere, it wanted to download that information into its mainframe. Control wanted the sphere's information because it would make Control powerful enough to destroy all sentient life. Airiam was in the process of uploading that data into Control's mainframe when Michael stopped her. Do I have that right? If so, could that explain why Starfleet disbands Section 31 and why Section 31 goes underground by the time of DS9? Basically, Section 31 was being controlled by a rogue AI that killed Starfleet admirals and wanted to destroy all life so Starfleet decided that Section 31 was not a good idea?

I'm very happy that Nhan survived. I was internally screaming at Burnham to check for her health once Airiam was locked out.
Gonna guess that Burnham saw peripherally that she was okay.

I was confused, was Nahn close to death/suffocating? There were more pressing matters than dealing with another person who was almost dying? Boy that is cruel.
