Imagine if Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise had received a visit from Q. what would've happened?

Q would have tried to irk Spock like he did with Worf. Spock wouldn't rise to the bait.

Yeah, it's a shame there wasn't a similar episode in TOS....

Q would have snapped his fingers and put all the Tribbles Scotty sent to the Klingons back on board the Enterprise just to infuriate Kirk. Uhura would enjoy it, Spock would find the whole situation and Q's antics fascinating, McCoy would be tasked with finding a solution to stop the Tribble's propagation. And Kirk falls on deaf ears with Starfleet Command. They would consider the whole Q - Tribble affair an excuse for disobeying orders..... whatever.

There was a Strange New Worlds VI story (The End of the Night) that ended with Q impersonating a crewman ("Crewman Cue") on Kirk's Enterprise.

In an IDW crossover, an ancient version of Q was captured by Flint (Vandal Savage), but managed to escape with the help of Kirk and crew and the Legion of Superheroes. Time was reset so that no one remembered it.

He also pestered the Kelvinverse Kirk in the pages of IDW's The Q Gambit miniseries, and showed up a few times in later Kelvin comics.

Recently, he's shown interest in Kirk in the currently ongoing series The Q Conflict, although he claims never to have met Kirk before.

Kirk would have convinced him he was a menace and Q would have self destructed.

And M'Ress would have squealed with delight, "Acres and acres of meat! And it's mine! All mine!!!" :nyah:

    I don't think so:

SPOCK: I object to you. I object to intellect without discipline. I object to power without constructive purpose.

Then it is Spock's loss. Q will shut him up by turning him into something silent.....:D

This is the kind of silliness that makes me glad I only stick to canon.
