Which leads to my question (which I don't know the answer to). How does that translate into being a director? Has he ever directed anything?

I can see it translating quite well actually. It’s basically story boarding action. Sure, ultimately a different medium, but it’s closer than prose being one of dialogue and visuals.

And you have to direct something for the first time. And these are, now, short films. So, why not?

I’m more weirded out that someone who is so involved with creator owned works AND has worked on others IP would get invoked in this shit show of a copyright infringing project.

A first-time director led by an inexperienced wanna-be "producer" is going to make a hundred mistakes anyone with some real experience won't make. Oh well, then Alec can blame it never coming out because they'll need more time and money to "fix it in post".

Then again, I see fan filmmakers with a lot of films under their belt who never seem to learn the basics... But then that's why you don't use them.

All of this pretending this Axanar trainwreck ever moves down the tracks.

I wonder at what point, the few remaining Axalytes will start to jump ship?? You got to figure after so long of hearing LFIM bloviate, deflect and defame, they have to have reached a limit, want him to quit flapping his gums and just put up or shut up.

Wouldn't mind seeing Christian put him in his place either (by making Axanar himself as he mentioned)

Assuming that my post is sexist because YOU think that being "beautiful" or "pretty" can only be attributed to females is the part that is shameful. None of my comment had to do with her being female. It had to do with her being attached to Peters and to various *obviously* illicit, illegal, and unethical projects - meaning that either she's complicit and not a great person (which I'd put at high probability) or fairly freaking oblivious (which I'd put at a low, dubious possibility).

However, I'll allow that you're correct that I don't know her, and I admit that the lower probability above is still *possible*, so I'll retract my statement as explicitly directed at her. However, the first sentence is an established *general* cliche for a reason, and I've yet to meet ANY human being who wasn't their own special meatsack full of crazy, so....
