As I recall from a podcast for the reason Alec's shirt is not green, green fabric was ordered. He didn't look at it, and assumed it was the right one. When it was time to make the costume, the fabric was white. The guy he had making the costume had left over gold fabric, and used that instead.

I’ve heard of lawyers being able to get speeding tickets nullified by having the incorrect offender’s information written on it. I wonder if it works the same way in civil/small claims like this and RMB can get it summarily dismissed. That would probably give AP an apoplectic fit.
More likely, the court would provide plaintiff with an opportunity to re-file.

Oh, and plaintiff most likely typed the complaint (or counsel representing them did).

ok guys, enough with the words. you can finally show your allegiance with your camp.
at the end of the year i'll count up the sales and declare a winner in...
AXAWAR!

use Code: SAVE15 to get 15% off of everything until February 25

Depends on the Judge, but most Judges won't completely dismiss on the basis of one typo IF the rest of the defendant's contact/biographical info is correct; and it can be shown the correct person is actually the one named by the complaint.

LFIM is a liar, con-artist, charlatan and general all-around scumbag who has defrauded innocent, un/ill-informed folks of over a million dollars and has single-handedly, destroyed the once-vibrant fan film landscape. He has a long and well-established record now of spewing venomous discourse & making slanderous remarks and has never once truthfully answered any direct question put to him about Axanar.

*Preventing the rise of another Alec Peters and the formation of another Axanar-like debacle* is a noble goal, one which is well served by reporting on the facts & evidence that exists around/about Peters & Axanar and one which is ultimately met by Carlos & Axamonitor (and also by Trekzone - the interviews with various people involved being quite illuminating, esp. Christian Gossett) and I heartily hope it will keep going until Alec/LFIM crawls back under whatever rock he came out from and is not in a position to rip anyone off ever again.

Actually, that mug looks pretty awesome....
i wholeheartedly agree. it's big, red, shines like candy and is reminiscent of the classic Nescafe cup even though that was more of a square shape. The makers and photographers did a really good job. Also I always had a soft spot for Allen R. Walden's "Final Frontier" font. Unfortunately I'm terrible with anything design/graphics. My old boss said I was what would translate to be "esthetically challenged" whenever I had to make anything look good. A closer approximation of the cup would be anything with white lettering, something like this I guess

Back to axanews, it looks like a copy of the official complaint against RMB by AP has been retrieved. There are added causes of defamation and confidentiality violations. Also, evidently the phrase "alec peters doesn't keep him promises" is considered defamation that causes irreparable harm... oh yeah and Axanar produces "scient fiction"

No, that was CBS.
Sorry, if Mr. Peters hadn't made such a big deal of:

"Hey, Lucas Arts/Disney has fan-film guidlines...CBS has given Star Trek fans NOTHING in that regard..."

and also hadn't LIED OUTRIGHT about claiming:

"Oh, Axanar has tacit approval from CBS..."

I seriously doubt CBS would have bothered as it wasn't something they really wanted to do; but a person getting $2 million from crowdfunding and claiming:

"Axanar is a independent/PROFESSIONAL Star Trek film..."
^^^
Which is EXACTLY what Mr. Alec Peters WAS claiming (up until the day he was served with the lawsuit...) FORCED CBS' hand on the matter.
