he and axanar, inc. just sued rmb apparently. would it be more difficult for an american to sue someone in europe?

It's been nearly 2 months since Alec promised he would sue RMB "next week". Still waiting...

I spoke too soon...he's only gone and done it!!!

An actual copy of the complaint will doubtless follow from the usual sources

They misspelled RMB's middle name. That's "Axanar Quality" work, right there. :techman:

If someone wants to sell stuff to the Sheep, just label it "Axaran."

Peters hasn't trademarked Axanar and if he tried I'm sure CBS would bring the hammer down because it would be a bad-faith gesture given their settlement.
I thought it was actually part of the settlement that Peters was forbidden to trademark or copyright anything to do with Axanar. Although it's possible i just hallucinated that...

I do recall that prior to the lawsuit that Peters was C&Ding people selling models of the USS Ares, which is funny.

Just for the purposes of "officially" posting this, my chat with Christian Gossett - that's being overshadowed by news that Peters has finally followed through on his threat to sue Rob Burnett.

The timing definitely sucks for you - but I will definitely give it a watch over breakfast (UK time). My alter ego will see you in the Youtube comments! :techman:

Or a underpaid court clerk typed it in wrong.
I’ve heard of lawyers being able to get speeding tickets nullified by having the incorrect offender’s information written on it. I wonder if it works the same way in civil/small claims like this and RMB can get it summarily dismissed. That would probably give AP an apoplectic fit.
