    ^Okay, thanks.

Anyway, I think Squirrel Girl was a bit more authentically written here than last time -- in the sense of how closely she matches Ryan North's characterization of her in The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, which for me is definitive. Making her the team member who's always encouraging others and trying to bring out the best in them is very much in character; in USG, that's as much her superpower as any of her powers of squirrel and girl. And there was a passing nod to her affinity for computers, a major thread in USG, where she's a computer science major and often uses her CS knowledge to save the day in unexpected, creative, and educational ways.

Marvel just released a mini episode featuring Kamala Khan with a different animation style. The simple comic book panel style approach is... interesting. Script by Marvel writer Kelly Thompson.

"Cheap" is more like it. That was little more than a motion comic. And it's disappointing that it didn't draw on the interesting uneasy-ally relationship established between Ms. Marvel and Loki in the comics (where she deftly convinced him to give her school his protection).

Oh, they also screwed up by having Thor use "thou" as a direct object, "to pay respect to thou, Loki," when he should've said "pay respect to thee." Writers, if you're going to use "thee" and "thou" in dialogue, do the research to get it right.

Squirrel girl teams up with Doctor Strange in another cheap looking motion comic.

I didn't think this one was as well-written as previous ones I've seen. The climactic battle didn't make much sense.
If the plasma thingie got larger by eating matter, how come it didn't eat the ground? How did it absorb Gwen's powers through her webbing, and how the heck does absorbing spider-powers translate to growing tentacles? And it was ridiculous when Iron Patriot blew apart benches and stuff to "get rid of" the matter -- obviously the matter was still there, just broken up. And why did shutting down the gate suck it back through the gate? You can't go through a closed door.

I also found Riri's voice annoying, which made it hard for me to like the character.

With rumours abound regarding a new Hawkeye series on Disney+, I wonder if the odds of seeing Kate Bishop show up on a future Marvel Rising special have increased or not.

New episode is up. This is the first episode that didn't try to double as an origin story and just told a story of the team doing super heroics, and I think it was the better for it. Next episode will be another origin story, this time for Shuri.

If they wanted to double down on the musical aspect of this series, I suppose they could add Hee Seol (Luna Snow) from Marvel Future Fight and from the (New) Agents of ATLAS comics to the mix. She does have her own songs, even if their respective music videos could do with a little work:

Plus, if they were so minded, they could even go on to spin off into a new series featuring the (new) Agents of Atlas themselves, to feature the likes of Cindy Moon (Silk), Amadeus Cho (Brawn), and Pearl Pangan (Wave).

If music is a big part of it, maybe they'll incorporate Dazzler into it now that the X-Men are back with them.

Has there been any word yet as to whether or not any of the Marvel Rising specials are to be offered on Disney+ in the US or internationally?

A gentleman in the Netherlands posted a video as he explored the app. Marvel Rising could be seen as he scanned thru the film section. If you're here in the US, its a safe bet that anything produced for the Disney owned cable channels will wind up on the service. Especially since Rising has already been made available via Marvel HQ for free over Youtube.
Video of the D+ app, with Rising seen at the 3 min:41 sec mark.
