Bajoran Spirituality

The Bajoran spiritual system allowed for an interesting variety of beliefs, as can be seen from that weird episode where O'Brien had to become the storyteller for the Bajoran village.

Me neither. The first two seasons were heavy with boring Bajoran storylines so thank god The Dominion came along to save the series.

I thought the Bajorans were snore inducing, however, they were written as spiritual people who had endured 50 years of hell from the occupation so I sort of get why their religion was depicted so much, but it didn’t do it for me. The Bajoran centred episodes, with the exception of the one where the original Emissary makes an appearance were boring. I also hate their stupid clapping action!

I found that episode very enjoyable.

I liked the way they handled it, with respect. Typically, Trek regards religion as primitive and backwards. Something a society is supposed to "grow out of" as it matures, just like with money or the warrior spirit.
Also loved that aspect. And the way it was all discussed helped me in my own faith. Major Kira' s journey in her faith was one I loved watching.
