Sounds like a line Spock would say if I ever heard one. So even if it's not in "Light and Shadows", he'll be in "If Memory Serves" for sure.

The last 2 episodes have the same writers and director, so season finale could be a 2 parter. The expansion of this episode is probably why they added an extra episode.
Episode 12 has the same writer director team as episode 6 and "The Brightest Star" Short Trek. So this could be another episode about Saru's home planet.
Episode 11 has the same director as "Runaway" Short Trek. Maybe a follow up?

The ship class was decommissioned over fifty years prior to Discovery.

ETA: I wonder if wings have something to do with it. Daedalus' wings...red angel....Hmm.

I think that "Project Dedalus" is referred to the greek myth of Dedalus and Icaro, and the tale of their wings.
Red Angel looks to have wings, right?

I think you’re going to have to wait a little longer. I can’t really back it up with anything but I just can’t imagine that they’ll randomly show a Daedalus-Class Ship in the middle of this storyline.
