It is absolutely imaginable that when the first humans on Vulcan saw a black, bird-like creature on the planet they just called it crows. Human: "What's that animal over there? The one that somewhat looks like our crows?" Vulcan: "This? Oh just a T'Spohnat't. They are very common in this part of..." Human: "Vulcanian crows! Fantastic!" Vulcan: "They are called T'spo.." Human: "...Crows, I know. Unbelievable you have them here!" After all, that's how the Canadian moose got it's name
Rumor has it that Burnham made a young Mr. Spock perform in a boy band were he was know as Tu Spock. They had a minor hit with "Que Surak Surak."
That's what scarred him. He wanted to be out there going balls to the walls singing "Highway To Mount Seleya" with the other Vulcan kids but Michael wouldn't let him.
Lee Sargent thinks she sold it on Vulcan eBay behind Spock's back. https://leedrawsstuff.com/star-trek-discovery-season-2-finale-spoiler/
I was kind of right. If I had included "half breed" as I originally intended it would have been more close.
Adds new dimension to how pissed off Kirk made Spock in "This Side of Paradise". "Half-breed" to Spock is like "coward" to Worf.
personally, I'd have loved an episode after that, that dealed with the outcome of Kirk's racist slur and Spock simply refusing to talk him.
