If you think that's bad, Star Wars fans built entire devotions to Boba Fett and Darth Maul who both infamously had few lines (they got more in later media, much as Number One certainly will).
And let's not even get started on Indiana Jones fans' fascination with Abner Ravenwood...

Well, since they never came out and said it in the movie, Lucasfilm was able to officially set Marion's birthday at a point that she was 18 when it went down. So technically nothing untoward ever happened. We also don't know any of the details of their breakup.

Good point. I remember the original "Bible" for VOYAGER, in which Tuvok was an elderly Vulcan who acted as mentor to B'Elanna, and the EMH was named "Doc Zimmerman."
Early plans are just early plans, which can evolve as time goes by.
Well Tuvok is relatively elderly (he was in Starfleet circa Star Trek 6) and he, uh, mentored B'Elanna offscreen and during commercial breaks.
Actually, in the script for Caretaker, The Doctor was initially referred to "as a holographic man in a Starfleet medical uniform [....] He has no name for now... but we will get to know him in time as Doc Zimmerman."
So, he eventually gets the name Zimmerman... offscreen after the Voyager series finale.
Heck, I think Pike turned (slightly) more jovial and less aloof by the end of The Cage.
Boyce alluded to the idea that Pike was not acting like himself at the beginning of the episode and was trying to psychoanalyze why Pike was acting so shitty (with a little booze mixed in with the psychoanalysis).
That discussion between Pike and Boyce told us right there that Pike's demeanor at the beginning and throughout much of that episode was not his normal demeanor.
Rigel VII did that to Pike. We need to go back to Rigel VII in Discovery so that Pike can flip out 'First Contact Picard' style.

Perhaps we'll see him when Pike returns to the Enterprise)? Rebecca Romjin's strongly hinted that we will see the bridge, so maybe some other crewmembers such as Boyce will make an appearance.

They'll throw us a curveball and bring in Dr. Piper. They'll even have a dramatic transporter shot like they did for Connolly where everyone's expecting Boyce, but they get Piper instead.
Did you hear that? That's the sound of millions of Klingons aghast and howling in horror!
It would make more sense to bring in Boyce, since he was Pike's best friend - like McCoy was to Kirk.
