When I saw which way the voting was going I thought I better have an idea ready, to propose for the next challenge, seeing as how my last two choices didn't fair well it was a nerve wracking concept to come up with something that won't scare writers away. Fingers crossed!
As with @Admiral2, I'm making the pitch wide. You must write about anything Star Trek related, be it established or created crews, alternate realities, timelines, etc. The challenge comes with the story length, all entries must be 2000 words (there will be a little wiggle room if you go over).
So your challenge for the next couple of months, should you choose to accept it, is to right a short story. This will mean you have to keep it tight and focused, whether writing an action packed infiltration story, interrogating a war criminal, or catching up with old friends.
The rules:
Any questions, comments, queries, either post them here or message me and I'll clarify any matters.
Good luck everyone, I hope this works...

So your challenge for the next couple of months, should you choose to accept it, is to right a short story. This will mean you have to keep it tight and focused, whether writing an action packed infiltration story, interrogating a war criminal, or catching up with old friends.
The rules:
- The story must be your own work, either something new or something old that you want to edit, polish up and resubmit.
- The word count in 2000 words (with a 10% margin for longer entries, they can be shorter as well if you so choose). This may seem a little strict, but this is a challenge, so challenge yourself to come up with a short piece.
- The story must be complete when you submit it here. To enter, create a thread for the story (if it doesn't already have one) and link that thread to this one.
- The deadline is Monday 25th March 2019. Voting will then be from the 25th until the 31st.
Any questions, comments, queries, either post them here or message me and I'll clarify any matters.
