This is incorrect. JL is a direct follow-up, Zack Snyder's fan-encouraging comments aside, to what happened in BvS both as originally filmed and as released.
The loose ends of JL can be wrapped up in a Superman sequel. Should we ever get one. Just have the opening act be Supes and Bats tracking down Luthor and Deathstroke (all World's Finest like) and nip the lingering threads in the bud. I picture it the same way Captain America TWS opened. With Cap almost single handily taking out that terrorist boat. And Luthor is a big fan of boats (as we know from the movies, comics and animated shows). Let you know this dynamic duo means business, this time around. Then shift the rest of the movies focus to someone like Brainiac or Darkseid.

Well, yes and no. Those are ensemble films, yes, but they aren't shared-universe crossover films. The Harley film is introducing an entirely new supporting cast specific to it, and it's being reported that SS2 is a "relaunch" with mostly new characters and little connection to what came before. Each ensemble is its own independent entity, rather than an attempt to link different films together.
JL doesn't really have any loose ends. Baddies being out of prison isn't a loose end, it's the status quo of comics
While I can understand DC trying to ride the coattails of Into the Spider-Verse I hope they realize that it didn't simply succeed due to the fact that it was animated ignoring the effort and quality that went into it.
Touche. I guess to me all the DC movies seem to follow the same house style to some degree. The Batman Beyond announcement says it's eyeing a theatrical release due to the success of Into the Spider-Verse. My point being if they are looking for similar success they may need to shake it up a bit and/or raise their game. Good examples of successfully shaking it up.
Just because there haven't been any DCEU comics so far, doesn't mean there never could be. If they decided to do it, a follow-up to the JL movie would be the perfect way to bring it to people's attention.
Absolutely. They've done comics for the Arrowverse shows, Batman '66 & Wonder Woman '77 and Marvel has done some MCU stuff.
Yeah, I do not now how anyone could fail to see JL as anything other than as a continuing story from BvS.
While there have been no full Graphic Novels set in the DCEU, there totally have been comics set in it. "Man of Steel", "Batman v Superman", "Suicide Squad" and "Justice League" all had prequel comics released in cross-promotional campaigns with Wal-Mart, Dr Pepper, General Mills, Doritos, Splat Hair Dye, and Mercedes Benz.

Wasn't there a DCAU comic featuring Kara Zor-El? Wasn't she supposed to have been the occupant of the open cryotube in the Kryptonian scout ship in Man of Steel? I swear I remember that.
I recall reading about such a comic, yes. IIRC, it was a Man of Steel prequel comic released shortly before the film.
