    Thank you. I was going for characters who have strong belief systems, who are intelligent enough to defend them, and flexible enough to admit that there may be acceptable alternate points of view.

    Garak - Duty to the state. Loyalty to family. The necessity of realpolitik.

    Kahless clone - Honor, tradition, boldness.

    Picard - Idealism, humanism, a love of exploration be it exploring the stars via starship or the past via archeology.

    Opaka - Spiritualism.

    Zek - Materialism.

    Moriarity - He's the odd man out here. He is what he is because he was programmed that way. But he's more than that because he is capable of learning and changing. He's like us. We are "programmed" by our parents and society from birth, but we are also capable of breaking out of that mould once we learn to think for ourselves. Holograms don't eat, but the other guests would provide plenty of "food for thought."
