Spoilers General Disco Chat Thread

I was looking over images of the DSC Mirror uniforms from the Exhibit in San Diego 2018 (for STO Reference), and I noticed something, there is a one piece skirt/dress variant of the Mirror Uniform. I went back and looked at screen caps of the episode, and Mirror Detmer is wearing it, but it's really hard to see because the bridge is so dark.

According to Mary, who plays L’Rell she didn’t have to as much ADR this year compared to the last as her voice is coming out clearer through the prosthetics

The CBS Bigwigs expected UPN to bring in similar numbers that some of the other cable channels were getting at that time, but it wasn't in enough markets around the country to even come close.
And ENTERPRISE got bounced out of its time slot so many times due to sports events, that even die-hards like me had trouble watching it.
Many times I'd have set up my VCR to catch the show while at work that evening, only to find that I had the last hour of some ballgame and only a third to half of the ENTERPRISE episode.
:(

CBS had nothing to do with Star Trek until after Enterprise's cancellation. They were both owned by Viacom at the time, but were otherwise disconnected entities.

So I guess there's gonna be a Tilly freakout scene at least once per episode. It's a good thing the performer trained at Juilliard. She is definitely feeling ALL the feelings.

I've loved this season so far...but for some reason the "Return of the Klingons" preview had me feeling disappointed for next episode.

I'm on business travel all week next week, so I won't feel so bad about delaying my viewing.

So far, I also like the second season better than the first one. Probably because they actually try to be Star Trek now (boldly go where no one has gone before and stuff), instead of being some sort of silly nuBSG rip-off. Anson Mount's likeable portrayal of Pike is also a nice addition.

Went to a friend's birthday party and hanging out with friends of friends. One is half-way through watching DSC on Blu-Ray. Another, I found out, has been a fan and can actually keep up with me, talking about the show.

So anyone who says, "No one I know watches", that's just their experience. Not everyone's.

Now back to hanging out.

So far the second season is the best of the two, let's hope it keeps up that way.

As long as it doesn't turn into a clone of a clone of a clone like VOY and Orville. I liked S1 because it was a different brand of Star Trek.

So far, S2 has been enjoyable. But, if it turns into Star Trek: Voyager with a better budget, I'll be out fast.
