GVM is new to the American market but have apparently been in business for several years elsewhere under another name. They're a Chinese company, but I'll tell ya, their light that I do have (480LS APP) is pretty amazing for its cost. Let's see how long it lasts...

I'm thinking of selling my van and with the proceeds, after paying some medical bills, I'd also love to get a VR system. I can pretty much guarantee that if I lived in the 24th century that I'd have what Barclay is affected by, but I don't really care. If I can find the modern equivalent, I think I might be a little happier, especially if I can bring my own dreamlands to "life".

Looking at the Oculus Rift + Touch system. Thankfully my PC specs are up to it, though I could stand a better GPU.

Next, I need to learn how to implement UE4.

Violence is the last resort of the incompetent... or something like that.

That's not from me, that's from the great Asimov!!!

And I fully adhere to it.

Unless of course there's a genocidal dictator trying to take over the world and just is waiting to conquer all of Europe before moving on to you. Then violence is the answer.

Or extreme scenarios where a violent person can clearly not be contained by nonviolent means.

Took this photo on my walk to the local post office to drop off some packages. On my way back, I was just a little more mindful of my surroundings, looking at the stores, people, and then... saw this poor old phone. I really can't remember the last time I saw a pay phone that was in operating condition. So weird how nobody takes it down and gives it a proper recycling. Just left to hang there... like sad figment of an older time, before cell phones consumed our lives...

Btw, thought it kind of interesting how the wall (or "support post") was painted fire engine red, almost the same shade of red as the vintage classic call boxes you'd see in the UK.

I don't understand why some "Intellectuals" wear their neglect and therefore total incompetence in anything scientific like a stupid badge of honor. Ignorance is one thing. Being proud of it is the mark of a fool!
