They are sooo adorable. Unfortunately Fred has a little anxiety around other animals. He clams up and shys away somewhere. When I started fostering him he came from a house that had 11 dogs, so I guess he was a little traumatized from it. He’s okay for a visit with another dog but if I brought one in the house it probably wouldn’t be best for him, as much as I want another! :(

I am picking up a new dog adoption later today.
She is a momma dog from a puppy mill.
We introduced her to my boy dog Bonehead (it's his nick name) last night and they got along pretty well.
She is not a pug but more like a Siberian husky Keeshond mix.
Sorry my dogs stay outside while I'm at work and I'd worry about a little short haired dog. :(
But I like all dogs pretty much.
Sometimes I don't like the owners though.

Wouldn't staying outdoors be a prob with a dog from a puppy mill? I mean, would her fur be thick enough for staying outdoors for such a long time? I am not sure what the situation is in your country; in mine, those puppy factories usually are completely indoors, so as to keep animal right activists, vets, police and other preying eyes away. hence those dogs have practically no wool at all (and often hardly any fur) :(

    She is a Siberian husky.
She has more fur than any of my past 5 huskies have/had.
I don't think she is a mill dog anyway.
She is house broken and it you so much as slightly crinkle wrapper in the kitchen she is underfoot in a blink of the eye.
Puppy mills here are a lot of times out in the countryside, down long private roads, so they can do as they please, they would hear anyone coming.:sigh:

She's not that little. She weighs 58 lbs.
I'd tell you what that is in Kg. But I loath looking stuff up on the phone.

It's unfortunate that she might have a health issue.
She is drinking a lot and wee-wee in a lot.
The vet has put her on antibiotics for a slight bacteria infection from her ruin sample and I am awaiting blood tests results for bilirubin in her urine.

However she doesn't act sick at all.

I’m so sorry to hear she’s not feeling well! Hopefully she pulls through and the tests come back normal.

It’s really good that she’s acting normally. Dogs are very good at letting you know when something is really wrong. Their behavior is so tied to their health.

    Sending well wishes!

58 lbs = 26.4 kg. The conversion is easier than most people believe: just divide the lbs through 2 and then take away 10% to get the kg :)
I keep my fingers crossed that it's just a bladder infection. If the vet rules that out, he/she will propably try a test for diabetes next - the symptoms would fit.

    Gosh!
    I hope it's not diabetes!
On some of her paperwork it said that she is obese. But the vet two days ago said it is just that she has really thick fur.
Her weight is the same as it was before.
My boyfriend was just diagnosed with diabetes he is obese (like my dog)
Maybe they can both start attending exercise classes together to lose weight!

They called and said that the blood test seemed okay. Although they said there was someting that was slightly off.
But I can't remember what it was.
After she finishes the anti-biotic a ill take her in for another blood test.
