I really enjoyed the series, and I've always thought it got kind of a bad rap. Still it's a solid third place for me though, after DS9 and TNG.

When re-watching ENT, I usually watch episodes from the fourth season which IMHO is what the show should have been from the start. (However, like many fans, I consider "Terra Prime" as the series finale and completely ignore "These Are The Voyages" as a throwaway TNG holodeck fantasy.)

Aside from that, I generally cherry-pick my favorite episodes out of the first two seasons. Not much interest in the tiring third season aside from a couple of good episodes.

I'm a TNG/VOY fan currently watching both Enterpise and DS9 for the first time (don't worry I've read spoilers years ago).

This channel "heroes & icons" is playing TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT in that order on every weeknight, I've been watching all of it for a couple weeks. Seeing them all together my opinion of Enterprise has improved a lot. Once I got over the intro song and bought into the premise, it's really great seeing new stories in that 90's Trek style.

    Hi peeps!

:) I’ve just started watching the first season of Enterprise (for the first time) - as I never actually watched it sequentially the first time around on TV.

I’ve watched the last two seasons in their entirety (and have them both on DVD) - so it’s nice to go back and start at the beginning. The long-arcing second to last season was fantastic viewing IMO.

Three episodes in of season 1: so far, so good! :)

I thought the first 2 seasons were up and down. But I can't really say there are any truly horrible episodes. I too always thought Enterprise got a bit of a bad rap. People sometimes forget it took TNG and DS9 until about the 3rd season to really catch on and Enterprise was no different. I thought the Xindi arc was well done and the 4th season was even better IMO. Too bad it didn't get a 5th season. We were so closed to finally seeing the Romulan War, such a pivotal moment in Star Trek history. And there were some good story ideas I read for a 5th season had it been green lit.

Agreed. I was disappointed not to have seen more of what we saw in the 4th season. Also especially bummed after reading that Shran was likely to have been upgraded to a series regular.

Im rewatching the series on Netflix. I have the DVDs but im getting lazy in my old age. I still find after DS9 this is my favourite Trek. TOS is still great and TNG good if somewhat patchy in quality. Voyager I cant really get into. Its a bit TNG for my with less sympathetic characters. I've just watched Fallen Hero which is very TOS. I love Fionnula Flanagan's V'lar If I ever had a Vulcan Granma i'de love it to be her. Wonder if she's related to the singer Fiona Flanagan?

I've been on a slow rewatch kick for the last year or so. I was definitely burned out on Trek back when Voyager was all that was left on TV. I enjoyed VOY more on rewatch than I did at the time and after a 1/2 season of ENT, I like it more than I did back when it aired. I still despise the opening song. It gets me angry. They would have done better to use the theme of Mr. Belvedere or The Facts of Life. It's just so crap. I also like the look of the show apart from all the early 00's LCD Screens. The inside of the ship looks more functional than the over the top & slick stuff in other shows.

I'm also watching Enterprise again after a gap of a few years
I still love the show, even some of the bad episodes
But its just a case of counting down the episodes one by one till they kill it with that stinking finale

Skip TATV Terra Prime makes for a better fianle the characters are treated better than tatv it's really is a let down for the Enterprise actors they refuse to watch it. They don't Like it at all. Jonathan Frakes says it's a crummy way for how they treated the cast in a youtube video at a trek convention last year. When he was there filming Tatv he talks about how upset the actors were about making this show.

Holy crap, I didn't realize it would end so quickly. So I just finished up the Mirror episodes and apparently there's only two (real) episodes left! I didn't see the end coming at all, and now that it's here, I am genuinely distressed. I've seen 75% of TATV so I wasn't planning on watching it anyway (for the obvious reasons), but now that I'm on the last two episodes I have all these....feelings.

Never did I think I would get around to watching ENT, let alone finish it. Now I'm upset that these characters get such a shaft at the end. ENT wasn't great but it as absolutely charming. For all the bad writing and hamstrung plots and remix after remix of Treks-we've-seen-before, it was still charming. Even when the characters are being dumb they're still fun to watch. And dumb motifs ended up being meta-jokes for me...like, 'so they're done with lubing each other up in decon and they've moved onto just rubbing each others feet... for headaches.'

It must have been uncomfortable for Frakes to be there for TATV. I'd be feeling like a freaking scab. If I were part of the main cast and a lover of all things ST, I'd just be thinking, 'Man, we're in the presence of COMMANDER RIKER and I can't even enjoy it because this is lame on toast.'

Oh! And I am now in the club of people that think that ENT would have been great if they got a couple more seasons! Once they started doing really prequel-y things in the last season, it really felt like they were finding their niche. I liked the Xindi arc a lot more than I expected, so I wish they had just done it early on and had that be the first season.

Just completed "Demons" and "Terra Prime"
The time has come to consider whether I'll watch "These Are The Voyages"
I've been a big fan of Enterprise since first viewing, several showings later, I love it more, and can't understand the bad vibes that some fans give it.
I'll probably end up watching TATV again, and feel lousy about it.
If only there was a way of revamping the whole show.

I ended up watching TATV a couple weeks after Terra Prime and I wasn't disappointed with how outrageously disappointing it was, lol.

Delta Vega, if you're a completist, that might be a reason to watch it again.

I'm trying to think of any essential elements in it... but honestly, it is so disconnected from the rest of the series. It ties up no loose ends, it progresses no storylines satisfactorily, the characters are strikingly out-of-character. You don't actually need to see it, right?

You know it'll be a train wreck going in, a cautionary tale on how never to end a series, a weird bit of holodeck programming by a seriously inebriated Barclay... so you'll be okay. Good luck!

Watched it, hated it even more
Fuck knows what the ENT cast were thinking when they had to act out that holodeck fantasy for long out of character TNG people
Anyway, I cheered myself up by going back to the start, and enjoyed watching "Broken Bow" parts I and II, followed by "Fight Or Flight"
