Things that frustrate us all

People who time and time again refuse to follow forum rules, the get mad at you when when you have to go moderator on them.

Windows 10 has reached the last straw with me. Got a BSOD from it today, thinking it's from them trying to force updates onto my laptop. It's froze a couple of times before. Double checked today and it tried to do so right before the issue happened. Still is now too, thankfully the issue hasn't happened again, but it's still very upsetting.

Once you go Mac you never go back! ;)

For me being a programmer the biggest difference is the bash shell. I could easily use Windows if it weren’t for the shitty command line.

MacBook Pro models 2013 and later are a nuisance if they need repairs. After Apple started putting in the retina displays, a lot of the parts became integrated into each other. I wanted to switch battery on a 2013 model and it was expensive as hell! I sold it instead and bought the 2015 model to replace it.

But I also own a 2012 model because they are still possible to repair yourself. I have switched to a ssd hard drive and new ram memory. It was easy to do and the computer got way way faster too. 2012 models are pretty cheap and easy to come by at least in Sweden. I will hold on to my 2012 model for a long time for that reason.

^ Should have gone with pear-chocolate... ;)

Actually, I like that as a dessert in and of itself. Basically, pieces of pear (either fresh or preserved) with melted chocolate poured over them.

Also works very well with pear sorbet, in fact, it's even better. there's that meeting of the hot and frozen!
