Ugh. Dallas didn't win, the Saints lost.

Seriously, though, that whole thing was very uncharacteristic of Brees' usual performance, particularly that final catastrophic pick. He really looked off tonight. By all counts, with the multitude of penalties Dallas inflicted on itself, the game should have been the Saints' to win. Really scratching my head over this one.

From what I've read, it was Bruce Allen's decision to claim Foster. Williams is just doing a poor job cleaning up his bosses mess.

Hunt got into an ugly brawl in a Cleveland hotel last year, but the full details of the event were not made public until Friday afternoon. The leaked security footage shows Hunt in a screaming match with a 19-year-old girl and kicking her while she is down on the floor.

I know it sounds harsh, but the Chiefs should cut him. I wouldn't want him on the Dolphins.

It's almost as though it's nearly impossible for women to get justice for crimes of abuse through the courts and have to settle with the justice of public opinion instead.

Not immediately. Hunt was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List. He isn't eligible to play until the investigation and whatever suspension is over.

His "apology" is total bullshit. He sat on this for a year. If he was really sorry, he would have admitted what he did and apologized at the time.

Wanting to be able to form a complete sentence with a full awareness of your surroundings when you're 70 is soooooo unmasculine.

I think anyone who complains about player safety protections should first agree to have a 300 pound man jump on you for three hours, once a week, four months a year. If you wouldn't agree to that, what are you, a *****?

But where player safety is not concerned I agree sports leagues do too much to cripple the defense to artificially increase scoring. Take care of safety first, then let defenders defend.

And why don't you stick to commenting on the game itself. At least you have a sliver of an idea what you're talking about when it comes to that.

I'm all for player safety, cutting back on the egregious crap is good. But we're literally steps away from it being the NF(lag)FL. It's a violent sport by nature, everybody playing it should know that. The only way to keep these guys 100% safe from injury is to abolish the game.

Kareem Hunt does not seem to be a smart man. Apparently there was another incident in June the NFL was already in the process of investigating...

In addition to the disturbing incident in February that compelled the Chiefs to cut star running back Kareem Hunt, Hunt was also allegedly involved in a separate matter in which he is said to have punched a man in the face at an Ohio resort, per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. That second incident took place in June, and the league was investigating that altercation even before the video of the February brawl was released.
