Turns out the Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball PAC
donated $5000, the maximum amount, to Cindy Hyde-Smith's reelection campaign. Charles B. Johnson, the co-owner of the San Fransisco Giants, also
recently donated $2700.
You know, the Mississippi senator who "joked" about public hangings and voter suppression, went to segregated school, and wore a Confederate soldier uniform and captioned the photo with "Mississippi history at its finest!"
Since being called out on social media media, the PAC has asked for the money back.
