Thanks for your suggestions! I will start to understand this story from the movie. As you said, Into Darkness and Beyond.Start with the 2009 movie Star Trek. It was designed as a new starting point. Then Into Darkness and Beyond.
Then, if you're only intetested in movies, circle back and start from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Otherwise try Star Trek: The Original Series for where it all began or Star Trek: Discovery, for the most recent show.
Thank you, Original Series is a long story definitely and has different clothing style.79 episodes,I have no enough time to watch. But I will try.Trek is at it's best on TV, so you'd be best going and starting with The Original Series. It may look "dated" and "campy" by todays standards, but it will show you what the franchise is about.
Oh,good idea! I like Michael Burnham in Star Trek Discovery.I suggest starting with "Star Trek Discovery", it's the most recent series and pretty good. With only 15 episodes so far it's also very accessible.
On the movie side I suggest Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Beyond.
From the classic movies watch 2, 3 and 4 (The Wrath of Kahn, The Search for Spock and The Voyage Home), they form a nice trilogy.
After that give Star Trek The Next Generation a try but be aware that the first two seasons are a bit ... rough.

I'm agree with you.I have watched movies first. Then you don't want to watch The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, or Enterprise either. They all have more episodes than the original.
Stick to the movies and Discovery. Then go back to the earlier stuff later.
If it helps, there's no long arc plots on TOS. Each episode is a standalone episode with its own beginning, middle, and end. You can sample some of them without having to necessarily watch all of them.
1960s TV shows were designed to be episodic, so that you can watch them in any order or skip one without getting lost.
