Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

The Buran and the extra-large Enterprise-C have arrived here as well. Both are stunning models. Here are some beauty shots …

While I'm glad to see that this is finally a thing, realistically, I suspect I can still probably get ships cheaper off of eBay, when you factor in shipping.

Edited to add: Forgot to mention, I got the NX-Alpha from my local store last week. The owner and I talk a lot but I felt a little guilty going in to check his wares, finding nothing I really wanted, and then loitering for ten or fifteen minutes until the bus shows up, and not buying anything.

Again, not the most exciting ship, but decent enough. He typically gets new items on Wednesday, so maybe I'll check it out after work tomorrow or Thursday.

Nice shots! Thank you for that!
Weirdly enough, I never understand the love for the Enterprise-C. The episode was great, and the model looks like a good predecessor to the D. But I never found it apealing to the eye!

I like Proberts concept for the C much more than the final model. That looked gracefully. I think this version is simply a somewhat ugly design. But apparently lots of other people see something in it that I miss, considering how beloved it is.
Reminds me very much of the Starship Troopers spaceships! But in a good way! Like a friendly version of the Roger Young. I really like that design. Also, I didn't notice it had a deflector dish on the show!

Just ordered a few of the Marvel figures (for my brothers for Christmas) and the DiscoPrise, which is still on pre-order, so does anyone know it's ETA?

I stopped getting the XL editions after the Enterprise D due to cost, but I have decided to start picking up a a couple here and there. Now I am not getting the A as its an abomination, but I am trying to decide which one to get first out of the E, Reliant or C. I haven't read anything about the E and I am most worried about it selling out. Anyone here have it or know what issues it has?

I also plan on Voyager, and am excited for the Runabout, Akira and Excelsior (I think I'll get the Excelsior before the B, as the B is just a bastardization of the Excelsior).

Good sale over on the Eaglemoss US store. I picked up the Shuttle Set #4 for $71 with the code: "minibar" which took 20% off the already 10% off it was listed at.

I think it's pretty amazing how much the Into-Darkness shuttle (and to a lesser degree the Kelvin medical shuttle which it's based on) looks like a classic TOS-shuttle, just updated! Probably one of the best designs of the Kelvin-timeline!
agreed.

and i've always been impressed that the into darkness shuttle was a full sized prop...

and wonder where the hell it is now.
