Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Ah, I didn't recognize them. In fact, I kept getting distracted by how much Comi reminded me of Tige Andrews.

Another example of a TOS guest in a prominent role in a highly regarded movie of the era--Lou Antonio falling under Paul Newman, George Kennedy, and J. D. Cannon as the fourth-billed star of 1967's Cool Hand Luke:

And five spots down from him, we find Morgan Woodward as the iconographically sunglassed "man with no eyes," Boss Godfrey:

Robert Walker plays an invader in the eponymous series. He freezes the people he touches. He can drink cold beer even in the middle of the desert!

Robert Walker played an invader called Nick Baxter that was ill! His touch caused humans to freeze to death, even animals as well! He was on his way to meet a landing saucer but it shot him, thinking he was a human perhaps! Don Eitner also guested as an alien that was pursuing Baxter so that the authorities didn't capture him!

Watching William Windom as a man with a bomb strapped to himself threatening to blow up the precinct on Barney Miller.

Yeah, it's really creepy when you see him rubbing the old woman's hands, given that it means her death. The aliens didn't seem to attach much value to life. They'd kill themselves at the drop of a hat.

They lacked emotions and had to learn how to pretend to have them in one of many learning centres throughout the country! I think the two aliens pursuing Baxter only wanted to quell public interest rather than him killing innocent human beings!

Sharon Acker (Odona from "The Mark of Gideon") as Connie Hastings, childhood friend of Jim Phelps in the Mission: Impossible episode "Homecoming". It's not a great photo (there are very few images of her from this episode floating around online), but it's definitely her.

Jeff Corey (The Cloud Minders) and Gary Lockwood (Where No Man Has Gone Before) in an episode of The Bionic Woman entitled The Night Demon.

I don't know how I could have possibly never posted this before, but here is my absolute favorite TOS guest star surprising role: Michae Pataki aka Korax the Klingon in the first of several appearances on Mighty Mouse the New Adventures as the villain The Cow. His first appearance was in the hilarious Batman sendup "Night of the Bat-Bat". CLICK THIS to jump to the scene that introduces the character, or just watch the whole damned episode below.

A few years later Pataki took that same voice to Ren & Stimpy as George Liquor, American.
