So this time they skip all the secret identity thing..?

Evidently. It's not like it ever served a purpose on the original show. Since both Adora and She-Ra were with the Great Rebellion and had the same friends, it's not like the dual identity actually protected Adora or anyone else from She-Ra's enemies.

The only reason she even seems to keep her identity secret is because Adam tells her that she needs to.
Ok, I don't remember her origin story very well. Did Adam tell her she needed that..? Or it was her idea..?

By the way, why didn't she remain in the She-ra form all the time? There was a time limit or something similar?

No, it was never justified in-show. It was just the standard superhero convention to have a secret identity and a hero identity, and the show used it because it was the convention, even though it was never justified in-story.

It was rarely even made clear how He-Man or She-Ra changed back to their normal form. I think there was just one episode where He-Man did it -- IIRC, he held up the sword and said "Let the power return," and the animation of Adam changing into He-Man was reversed. I'm not sure if we ever saw She-Ra do it, but it was probably something similar.

She just changes her clothes?

She-Ra would also have had to cut her hair to pass as Adora, and raise the pitch of her voice. Of course, the latter should be easy enough, since Melendy Britt did both voices.

Yes, "The Problem with Power" has tbe "Let the power return" dialogue .... There's a few other episodes, such as "No Job too Small" and "The Ancient Mirror of Avathar" where he changes back without saying any dialogue.

There's an episode, "The Stone in the Sword", where the sword's gem get cracked and she's then shown to have reverted to Adora off-screen.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Certainly one of the show's most memorable episodes (in which Skeletor tricks He-Man into thinking he's accidentally killed an innocent bystander and he almost gives up his power out of guilt).

The trailer on Netflix has the Swedish dub, which sounds fine. At least one actor from the 2002 He-Man dub returns (Teela then, now Angella). But they've translated the proper noun Grayskull, which sounds really dumb in Swedish. And even worse, for some reason translated "by the POWER of Grayskull" instead of "for the HONOR of Grayskull".

Adam takes Adora back to Eternia to meet their parents. Adora is surprised that the King and Queen are unaware that Adam is He-Man. Adam then tells her that she can't reveal she's She-Ra either.

There's an episode of She-Ra, "Friendship", where Grizzlor almost figures out She-Ra's identity. But Grizzlor isn't smart enough to make the connection.

(around halfway through the episode - 13:00)

... Adam is an egoistic jerk... But unfortunately this is the closest thing to an official explanation why Adora has a secret identity ...

Also were they not brother and sister? How is it that that happened, and they're on separate planets?

King Randor and Queen Marlena of Eternia had been blessed with twins, a girl they named Adora, and a boy, named Adam. At the time of the twins' birth, the Evil Horde had tried to invade Eternia. The Horde were unable to beat The Royal Guard or the magic of Castle Grayskull. Their leader Hordak, along with his pupil Skeletor plotted to kidnap the twins because of "something" the twins were destined for (though Hordak did not know exactly what). Hordak was able to successfully kidnap Adora, but they were confronted by Man-At-Arms before the boy could be taken. Hordak escaped, leaving Skeletor behind. As payback, Skeletor revealed to Man-At-Arms that the Horde were based at Snake Mountain, and Man-At-Arms went with the Sorceress to retrieve Adora. When confronted, Hordak ran through a portal into another dimension, which closed up before they could follow.
