Megan Fox joining Star Trek?

Could be a hint at casting, but Megan Fox is the producer/host of "Mysteries and Myths" and a guest contributor on "Ancient Aliens", so this could be something to do with that. But if CBS AA wants to get the fashion world interested in Star Trek, having her play a teacher in Starfleet Academy would be a good call.

I can almost see it because Kurtzman's connection to "Transformers" but this sounds like a terrible idea. She has never shown even once the ability to act and her as a teacher at the Academy will be about as credible Denise Richards as a Nuclear Scientist in that Bond movie.

Granted the only recent stuff I've seen is New Girl, but she was good in that. I liked her in a horror movie I saw once too. I don't think she's any better or worse than 90% of the guest actors used in TOS all the way to ENT, but unlike most of them, she is a celebrity.

She's an actress. She has acted in good stuff, and in bad stuff.

Also, I think @Red Panda is reading WAAAY too much into some arbitrary twitter posts. She's just hanging out with a few other celebrities! The whole "Trek"-connection is only fans-gone-wild, photoshopping her into a uniform even though NOTHING supports that.
