Welcome to DS9 Avatar Contest Two Hundred and Forty!!
I've been running this contest (poorly) since contest #119, so do I have to ask whether someone else wants to take the helm? Or should I have asked at #238? I've ruined everything!!! Probably have to bring this thing around for another pass...

The new themes chosen by the winners of our previous contest are:

I love some good self-deprecation, but you've been doing a good job as far as I can see. I remember guest-hosting once while you were away and managed to mess it up regardless of how careful I thought I was.

If no one wants to take over, maybe it's time to retire it for the time being? Two or three entries (always the same people) is a bit of a drag after a while. Or maybe run it less often?

Thanks for the input Tosk, and I'm glad the Hunters haven't caught you yet!

If I'm not doing too badly I certainly don't mind continuing to have it. We could always try to recruit some more people, and there have been plenty of themes I keep wanting to enter myself. In spite of the deadlines if it runs about once a month, it's probably okay - not so rare that people forget it? IDK... I'm always impressed at the things you guys come up with contest after contest!

I think you're doing a great job!! But just so you know, if you felt like you had to step away for a while for whatever reason, I would, of course, totally understand and support whatever you need to do.

My apologies for the fact that I've been missing contests and votes lately. (Like, moreso than usual, I mean! ) There has been a lot going on in RL lately, and TBH, I don't see that changing much in the immediate future. Sorry. So sometimes I will not be able to enter, or I'll miss deadlines.
