Yeah. I mean, won't we be able to watch them in January anyway? Are they going to delete them or block them forever after they air?

They'll be available online indefinitely.

The staggered release is likely a production thing - production on the 4th short film only finished last week.

Hmmm. Maybe Season 1 on the way to Vulcan at the end of "Will You Take My Hand?"

If they have it set in Season 2 itself, that risks giving away spoilers (unless they're really careful or selective about what they give away). And I have a feeling the next episode will take place immediately after the finale without skipping a beat. So there wouldn't be any room for in-between in that scenario.
 
I don't really have time to trawl through 12 pages of posts so does anyone know if they are going to be released in the UK? I know Netflix don't plan to show them but any other way??

Assuming "Calypso" takes place in the DISCO era (10 years before TOS), how could Craft end up being a character on Picard (20 years after ST:Nemesis)? If anything, I think it more likely he could pop up in an episode of Disco -- Chabon isn't also writing a Disco ep this season, is he?

I was wondering the same thing. If I were guessing, I'd say the same time regular episodes came on last year. So, 8:00 PM Eastern Time? Here's hoping it's sooner.
 
I have it on good authority that not all Ontario cable guides (in Toronto specifically) reflect the airing of the Short Trek on Space at 9PM. Perhaps an outdated schedule is still in the pipeline for some viewers, and it will be necessary to record whatever program is scheduled at that time.

I kept an eye on my listings and they updated right after Space announced they would be airing it.
