True but they've built a brand to work from. When CBS AA launches in the UK (which has already been announced, so not sure why this is even being debated) it has something to work from. It has a loyal audience to tap into and expand from. CBS also do a lot of stuff for BBC, they have a partnership for news media. Also for many people that live in big cities in the UK, they will remember CBS for their billboards too.
It's a known brand. That's basically my point.
The CBS channels pull in around 140,000 viewers in primetime every day. For their original series, that figure doubles. It's not as big as Sky One or ITV2, but they are some of the bigger channels on digital TV, and very popular with advertisers. That's how and why CBS is commissioning 5+ original series and 20+ first run shows next year, and stepping away from reruns.
