From Uncanny X-Men 158...
Logan: "I was wonderin', though, Carol, about the command pilot wings and "fruit salad" you're wearin'-- are they legit?"
Carol: "As much as yours, Logan. The wings and medals were earned. So was the rank. I was allowed to temporarily upgrade from Major to Colonel on missions. The clout came in useful."
Probably the first time we see her in uniform or find out her rank and background.
It is a little odd. Carol actually is in the Air Force in the comics, but War Machine was originally a Marine aviator, so I'm not sure why Marvel thought they needed to make him Air Force in the MCU. Comics Falcon was never in the military IIRC, but his MCU backstory as a former Air Force Pararescueman makes sense.MCU seems to have a particular affinity for USAF, doesn't it?
No, I just have two eyes and a functioning brain. So you go around gathering statistics like this? It's just that big of a component of your ability to enjoy entertainment?
Research Guy. Falcon's wings were a gift from the Black Panther and are a product of Wakandan technology. It saves time from explaining how he's a nerd who invented wings in his basement too.

I paid 20 cents in 1974.Which would have been silly to talk about the Panther before they had introduced the Panther.... No, Captain America II is where they introduced the Panther.
I own the comic.
I bought it for 15 cents in 1989.
She's that old in the comics? They definitely don't draw her that age in any of the comi[/QUOTE]Bird could be seen as slang for female here. Maybe a Brit names her.
She would be in her 50’s now. That might be a bit old for him.
There are some, but not enough to be truly fair representation. Hell the only shows I can think of that that are mainly focused on a woman, are Quantico, Blindspot, Wynona Earp, and The 100. Obviously there are others, but those are just the first to come with mind with no research. That's nonsense. There's plenty of female shows and movies out there.
Will be interesting to see how Fury loses his eye. Something they should have done in the Indiana Jones movie.
I imagine there will be some memory erases in this so it meshes better with Avengers. Coulson implies that Thor visiting Earth was the event that changed everything so he might not remember her by the end.
The MCU has retconned a few things. SHIELD wasn't using SHIELD as a name until the end of the movie originally, but it being founded by Howard Stark and Agent Carter after WWII is what stuck and is actually a much better option. If a change makes for a better story, I'd rather they do that instead of sticking to decisions made early on that limit storytelling potential. Comics do it all the time, why shouldn't the comic movies do it as well? Will be interesting to see how Fury loses his eye. Something they should have done in the Indiana Jones movie.

No, they're talking about sexist assholes, and people that harass actors/directors/etc online. I would never do that. I'd never even consider it, I find that behavior repugnant. So, you're definitely wrong. Maybe you shouldn't pull stuff out of thin air just because someone doesn't agree with you about a movie.
Just because you apparently think that anyone that doesn't agree with you is "toxic" doesn't make you correct, and it takes away from the people who are actually toxic. Hating something doesn't make someone toxic, how they react does. Complaining about a movie you think is shitty isn't being "toxic"

She can AirB&B with Danger Mouse.Remember Charlton Heston wigging out about the Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes?
Imagine Carol doing the same thing, over the Blockbuster Video...
For a time Carol in the comics, lived inside an apartment inside the head of the Statue of the Liberty.
So...
