It’s overcast, but still warm enough. The sky is thick with grey cloud and the wind is picking up. Quite close too, and aching to rain. Some of the leaves are already starting to turn and there’s a subtle scent of decay in the park. There is an air of autumn, down our way today.

Hurricane Florence is supposed to arrive tomorrow with 75 mph winds and 15 ft storm surges. but we bugged out to the Virginia mountains. it was nice and sunny here today.
