Speaking of the way people drink...I fill my mouth with liquid before putting pills in my mouth to keep from tasting them (I HATE medicines' taste!).

If the pills are prone to instantly dissolving into a bitter tasting "paste", I'll place a spoonful of fruit flavored yogurt in my mouth and then drop in the pills. Then I swallow the "dollop." The gelatinous nature of the yogurt keeps the more easily dissolved pills from spreading across my tongue.

Help! I'm drowning in tomatos!
Any recipe for drying or processing (ketchup, chutney, purree etc) and preserving them would be highly appreciated. My freezer is full to the brim, so that I need to find other ways to preserve them.
(for the tomato geeks among us: I have Green Zebra, Tigerella, Burpee's Jubilee, Pink Brandywine and Flowerbox Tomato)

Do you like salsa? Might be a great time to experiment and (possibly) sell them. My wife has great success with trying out different spices.

excellent idea! I can't sell it (our food production laws and hygiene standards are so high that a private household can hardly match them), but I can trade it with my colleagues for homemade bread, free range eggs, honey from their own bees etc =)

Based on the prior discussion, I totally know what you mean here, but the different spelling really changes the context in English!

I grew up thinking “catsoup” or “catsup” meant it just wasn’t Heinz

LOL yes, I am aware of the double meaning but even though it was more than 35 years ago, my 9 years of being taught Queen's English have left their mark both on my spelling and accent. In respect of durability, school education resembles peach stains
