Just saw the official announcement.
Glad we have a date but my Sunday nights are never free which is annoying for me.
I will be watching it on Mondays.
Gonna be a bugger here. Monday morning. Hopefully iView will have the episodes shortly after, and then the ABC broadcasts them the following weekend.
They're setting themselves up for massive ratings failure here, just launching the series out of nowhere unannounced and virtually unpromoted. Are they really that afraid of what ITV might come up with to counter? Guarantee you in the States, whatever else is on that night, the fans will clear space for the premiere - if they know it's coming.
I might get to live chat with you guys on October 7th. BBC America is airing the premiere at the same time as the BBC, so that is what, noon, San Francisco Time? Of course it's during football but maybe I can miss an hour for new live Doctor Who.
That is unfortunately so true.from what I've seen of NFL, you could watch an hour of Doctor Who and only miss about 5 minutes of actual play in the football![]()
First episode is called "The Woman Who Fell to Earth"

So, looking ahead some more, let's talk about Nu-Target Wave 2 (and there will be one, no way the fans are letting it stop at five books). Which titles would you like to see adapted next? My picks would be:

The Woman Who Fell to Earth (or whatever Thirteen's debut gets called)
Sunday is a great move- that evening is more varied than saturday's schedule, with less devotion to light entertainment and game shows. And, more importantly, it means a solid regular timeslot that doesn't change every week along with Strictly's variable runtime.
