Actually, the reason why ENT got a fourth season was so that it could be sold to syndication. Three seasons wouldn’t have been enough episodes. And that cliffhanger was probably the worst one I’ve ever seen.

Alien Nazi cliffhanger is Shakespeare next to TATV. If the price for Seasons 5-6-7 was to make Alien Nazis the running bad guys, or the newest members of the Engineering crew, or Shran's hand-picked MACOs if he becomes Security Chief in S5, and TATV was retconned into nothing more than a Barclay drunken prank pulled on Riker, then bring on those alien Nazis, baby, and give us the rest of ENT's 7-year run.

If, and I ask this respectfully, "series" is what some folks call what Americans typically call a "season", what do you folks call what Americans typically call a "series", that is, the entire run of the show from beginning to end?
