A guy built a warp drive in a garage.

I bet no one has a starship in their garage, unfinished or not.
Only because I don't have a garage.

Perhaps I've said too much. ;)
A cup of tea powers the infinite improbability drive, or could if you had one.
Which you very well could, if you calculate the odds against having one and feed them into a finite improbability drive that you've given a good strong cup of tea. :techman:

I can also build a warp drive in the garage. It wouldn't work, though.

Wasn't there a character on Enterprise that liked building model rocket engines?

Now I wish we really did have model rocket engines and anti grav remote control toys.

Yes we do but those use rotating propellers for lift the one Archer had had an hourglass shaped thing in the body that was a mini anti grav device, no moving parts. Once we've cracked gravity I'm sure it will happen but most of us will be long dead by then.

Thanos?
Ok googled Thano......super hero guy from comic books and i assume it's the purple and gold guy, this explains why i am not getting these references and at least now i know i am not losing my marbles.......phew. lol
My knowledge of all these comic books hero's comes from the recent movies so it is very limited, so not my fault, we never had them here in the uk in the 70s, and the only comics i ever had then were the usual uk ones, Dandy, Beano, Cheeky, the Broones in the Sunday papers. Lol

I have turned against those movies, because I want other normal type stories and scifi but these kind of movies seem to be dominating in some way and its killing my fun.

I agree. Original SF movies such as Arrival are too few and far between. However, I expect mass audiences will eventually tire of Marvel movies like they seem to have of Star Wars stories. Enthusiasm for DC movies seems to be pretty much moribund anyway - apart from Wonder Woman and I doubt that will last.
