Oh god no. Too soon.If Trek had unlimited budget, they could probably CGI Spock the way Star Wars' Rogue One did for Governor Tarkin.

Something like that they'd have to get Nimoy's family approval too. So it's really up to them. I am curious what Nimoy would have thought on such a matter.Oh god no. Too soon.
TNG had McCoy in the pilot episode, Spock, Scotty, and essentially remade at least 2 TOS episodes (Not to mention killing Kirk in their first movie).
And Sarek . . . twice.
And ENTERPRISE brought back T'Pau for at least three episodes.
But no, STD must have SPOCK, otherwise people get confused what show they are watching (to be fair, it does look like generic sci-fi most of the time)I have a cheaper idea; create new characters. Leave the old ones alone. Wild, I know.
So nine times in a couple hundred episodes over how many years? While Discovery, with a single season under its belt, has already given us Spock’s secret sister, Super Sarek repeatedly, Amanda, Harry Mudd twice, the Enterprise and now Pike, Spock and Number One.
Hrmmm.
And federation is made up of two planets and 20 people total.Could have something to do with being set within a decade of Spock's main appearance in Trek, instead of 80+ years either side.

Yes, but did it have to be you ?"To Kill a Spockingbird."
(C'mon. Somebody had to make that joke.)
Could, or could be shameless fan service. Or could be both.
And federation is made up of two planets and 20 people total.
Yes, the most famous and beloved character in the franchise, at a time when he was on the Enteprise, totally going out of their way more than him being on Romulus within distance of the Enterprise D nearly a century later for "some reason".
How many years into TNG’s run were those two episodes?
Superman has been played by 11 actors (at least, I haven't checked the article for accuracy). One more or less doesn't exactly matter. And Supergirl is cousin of Superman, everyone knew he is around somewhere. STD does NOT have to be related to Spock or to anything else in the known universe. But they keep using it as a crutch.Well looking at supergirl, they cast Tyler ...somethieng or other (to lazy to internet)... in the role of superman for season 2, used him for 3 episodes, he looked good in the part.. so, can cast a wellknown character and not have him be central.
