Julian/Jadzia

In "The Quickening", Jadzia and Bashir were on a mission together down on that planet. When I first saw the episode, I thought it was a good opportunity for the writers to create some romantic interplay between the two. At the time, I thought there might still have been a possibility for the two to hook up romantically.

The situation on the planet could have brought the two closer. But there was no romance between the two. At that point, I realized that they were not right for each other, at least Bashir was not right for Jadzia.

But Jadzia and Worf did seem to have good chemistry, in their own weird way, when they went on a mission together. I don't remember the name of the episode.

The writers wanted to hold on to Worf and Jadzia is the reason why. If it had been a Season or 2 Earlier, then they could have done something about it. Idiots!

I'm not even that bothered by the issue of Jadzia's love interests, I wasn't crazy about her character to begin with just because she was kind of hard to put my finger on. She would talk about all the different people she was and the different experiences, I could never really establish who Jadzia was.

However, Kasidy/Sisko really tore me up. They should have kept her in prison. Did not like her with Sisko. It really bothered me actually. :angryrazz:

Even if that was the case, I still think it made more sense for Jadzia to be with Worf rather than with Bashir. Jadzia showed that she was more of a warrior than we may have realized at first. Worf was a warrior while Bashir was not. As another poster wrote, Bashir was more like a posh boy. That would not be a good long term match for Jadzia.

I'm not British. Maybe I misunderstood the meaning of the word posh as it was used in that post.
I never said you were British. I just think Americans have got a different mindset to Sci-Fi Relationships compared to British People.

To be honest, I do not mind Ben/Kassidy because they were a good couple. I would have liked Ben/Jennifer though. I really like Jake Sisko and his Dad though!

What does this have to do with Jadzia and Julian? You base your support of fictional relationships around accents?
No. The reason why I love Julian/Jadzia together is that they would look after each other. They look brilliant in same colour uniforms (Blue), They look cute together, they are smart and of course the accents. I did include at the beginning of this thread pages why Julian/Jadzia would be a good match. I suggest you read them.
I prefer we shelve accent discrimination.
I am not discriminating accents. I am just saying what is right in my opinion.

I am going to assume that you are not intending to come across as you are coming across. I read what you wrote in the beginning. I also read what you wrote above about accents.

In any event, I think that this thread is kind of a merry go round and I don't much like merry go rounds, so I will see myself out.

No Problem.
