Her costume in the comics covers everything but the bottom of her face and her hair.
I imagine her costume will cover them up. Hard to keep a secret ID with identifying marks like that.

Might not be as simple as you'd think. Frankly, I would have assumed you could seamlessly digitally remove a moustache with a single keystroke, but evidently it's a huge and not entirely surmountable technical challenge, even on a major motion picture budget?I imagine that tattoo removal is probably done digitally these days.
I enjoy the Arrowverse for what it is, and it is pretty impressive for CW to get a mainstream actress into this role. Fans should see her in the annual crossover with a new standalone series for 2019.
Thoughts? Can CW become over-saturated with the comic shows? Will something like Legends of Tomorrow end up going away to make room?
And how many have come and gone in one season... don't know about you..but i want the new shows to STAY!How many police procedurals are there on other networks? How many detective shows or spy shows? How many medical dramas have there been over the history of TV? How many Westerns were on the air in the '60s? How many sitcoms about families have there been? There's no such thing as oversaturation.
As for having room, The CW has now expanded its schedule to include Sunday nights, so they now have 20% more room than before. And their president has announced that there are no plans at present to end any of the superhero shows.
True. I'm not advocating for it I was just curious.
I am under the opinion that there are too many medical and detective dramas flooding the major networks. Nothing really stands out with them anymore. But the networks keep chugging em out so what do i know? Lol.
I think the superhero shows are a bit more sustainable due to the loyal fan bases. The only one getting stale to me is Arrow. I've come close to giving it up.
Depending on what universe Black Lightning is in, they could make a version of the Outsiders, and star the Arrow supporting cast...another idea could be an anthology..maybe call it after an old comic series like "Brave and Bold" or "DC Presents"...that could give them freedom to do as many or as little as needed...like when we have these random breaks.Only way I see any of these shows ending would be if one of the leads gets a huge movie offer they could not turn done. But even then I suspect the shows would not be cancelled but retooled to focus on the other characters.
I am thinking how when Andy Griffith was ready to leave his own show a new lead slowly was introduced in his last season. Next season it was retitled “Mayberry R.F.D.” with most of the supporting cast staying on.
At some point we could have Star City or Star City Samaritans if Stephen Amell ever leaves.
With Legends I would not have a problem if they took a break for a season or two and returned. Similar to how comic book miniseries have sequels every few years. Or closer probably to how British television “series” are our equivalent of seasons but with pauses in production for years between. The Arrowverse would chug along on other series in the off time. Really that could be applied to any of the current shows or future series. Maybe than seasons would be produced when they have really good plot lines. Not just to keep production moving. The crews could keep working on other Arrowverse shows during hiatuses.
The Rock has numerous tattoos, and many movies cover them up.
And the answer is that there's no reason we shouldn't, because she's playing a character who does canonically have tattoos.
At 32, Ruby Rose is out of the "age range" that The CW was casting for, but since Rappaport Casting hasn't yet made a mistake in the people they've selected, I have no doubt that she ended up being the best person for the role regardless of her age.
But 32 is age accurate for the character.![]()
Not for this version; they were looking for a 25-29 year old actor, putting the character firmly in that age range as well.
25-29 year old actresses get called for roles from 16 to 50 so that's hardly telling what age the character is supposed to be![]()
This is the CW... so if the they were looking for a 25-29 year old actor, then the character must be a teenager. If the character is 25-29, then 39 would still be youngNot for this version; they were looking for a 25-29 year old actor, putting the character firmly in that age range as well.

I liked the Ruby Rose casting. She was great in OITNB.
how terrible Stephen Amell was in the beginning.
