Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

The Borg Scout ship is coming, and the shuttlecraft are a different range.
I believe the reason we haven’t seen any Son’a ships is because the models for it were lost after Insurrection. There are some fan ones out there but no “official” ones.
that is the reason, but ben robinson had said at least a couple of years ago now that they were working on recreating those models. they'd be instant buys for me.

as for the borg scout ship, the borg probe is the one that's on its way. i'm referring to the ship that crashed in TNG "i, borg" which is basically only speculative design that showed up in the old star trek: first contact CCG but still about as canon as some of the ships we've seen crop up lately.

WizKids produced a Borg scout ship. The one on the Decipher card looks like those fold-able shopping box.

I really hope they don’t get too wacky with these limited con “exclusives”. The whole point we subscribers do what we do is to acquire a complete collection. If they make these things too difficult to get they may wind up losing a big chunk of their clientele, giving up on any hope of ever getting the full set.

Many of us acquiesced on the Japanese DeAgostini Borg Cube as a foregone conclusion that we’ll only ever realistically see one on Memory Alpha or eBay. Eaglemoss really shouldn’t get too deeply involved in that habit.

The exclusives do eventually go on the website to buy. You should count yourself lucky that you’re a subscriber.

They have in the past but with the Glenn they’ve confirmed that it’s only going to be at Vegas & maybe cons in New York & Birmingham, England if there’s stock left. Unless something changes it won’t be on the website.

Why does Vegas get priority? No one cares about them. :)
No big loss I suppose. It’s just a STD ship.

The German webshop sells the Enterprise XCV-330 for 33,99€ and the Enterprise XCV-300 for 30,99€. According to picture and text, they’re the same standard XCV-330 though. Must be an oversight.

I got the same blank shipping notice today. Considering I haven’t ordered anything since the XL 1701-A I’m assuming it’s the long overdue magazine as well.

It was the magazine. I haven’t read it through yet but every picture on the inside is from TMP so I’m guessing it’s just about how the ship was redesigned for TMP.

It does have a picture of the A on the front which really makes the errors on the model itself all the more glaring.

The magazines are usually just reprints of the Star Trek fact files anyway. There is a few new pieces of information in them but nothing substantial

there's still a few glaring omissions: miradorn raider, yridian destroyer, t'plana hath-lander, son'a starships, borg scout ship, karemma starship, a number of shuttlecraft including the galileo from star trek V...

Or fucking V'Ger!! Damn it was the focus for an entire film..and no Eaglemoss model. They've got Dr. Severin's Hippie Space VW Bus, but not V'Ger..??

To be fair, we never actually got a proper look of V’Ger in the film.
And the other was Mudd’s ship, Stella.

Yeah, but it's in the DE version of the movie, and there's plenty of pictures etc to go off of. I mean, they're making models of ships that were never even seen on screen. If they can do that and they can do stuff off of TOS-R...they can make a V'Ger.

Thomas Marrone, the lead ship designer over at Star Trek Online, said in a recent interview that they're doing something else with Eaglemoss that will be announced by the end of the month. He didn't say what it was, but he did say it won't be as exciting as their Ent-F model announcement.

I'm kind of curious.

The Pathfinder Class? Would be awesome if it’s that beyond awesome looking 26th century Romulan ship but I doubt that.

Could also be those other 23rd century ships they recently designed. The collection is lacking in thisecera ships and they would help fill that.
