Both characters were very intelligent young men serving aboard Federation starships with aspirations of joining Starfleet. Icheb joined VOY late in its run and was a recurring character. Wesley was an original main cast member for TNG, but eventually left the show about mid-way through its run. Anyway, you probably know the characters. So which of them did you enjoy more? And why?

Wesley could be annoying but had some redeeming moments.

Icheb was so bland i forget he was in it unless someone mentions him.

I vote for Wesley but in both cases I think the actors could only do so much with what they were given.

I voted other. I'll take Jake or Nog over either of them. Noh-Jay Consortium, yo!

I've only seen Icheb in that one episode of VOY where he gives the report about Kirk's five-year mission to Janeway. (I stopped watching the show regularly long before he came along.) He struck me as a pretty annoying and redundant character. So Wesley by default.

They're both pretty good, I even think Icheb was a good late addition to the Voyager characters and dynamics, but I think Wesley still added more.

I prefer Icheb. I liked him. He was more quiet but he knew his stuff. Wesley talked alot.

Yes. At least Nog and Jake felt most realistic. Just a couple of good old boys never meaning no harm.

They weren't wunderkinds. They would mess up. They would struggle.
