Said nerds the world over about a million different things before tuning in to moan and complain.
Personally this looks better than last year. From what Seth has been saying they've ditched the forced humour in between every line and smoothed everything out. Other than that more of the same is okay by me.
And I have zero intentions of watching it, I watched the first six or seven episodes of season one and finished with it due to how mind numbingly bored I was with a couple of episodes.
Like most shows, you can't make everyone happy.
Fair enough, there's more than a few who would say the same about Discovery. So were you hoping the trailer would look better and be more appealing to you leading to you watching the new series or did you just come into say a naughty word? Cos it wasn't that great when Tilly did it.
I am aware of that. Anyway, that is all I have to say on this programme.

Great trailer. It looks like they've found a good mix of humor, action, and drama.
As for Alara, the main reason I think there is going to be more to the new character than her just being another Xelayan is the fact that it seemed to be a pretty big deal that Alara joined the Union fleet, so I find it a bit hard to believe that there would happen to be another Xelayan in the fleet who ends up on the Orville. I'm think there's got to be a very good story reason that she ends up taking Alara's place.
