a shout box would be cool but it'd be an administrational problem, being almost impossible to moderate in case of a disagreement. It'd require a mod being online and monitoring it 24/7.

I used to watch TNG once in a while in the 90's and rented some ST movies when I was a kid but I never gave too much attention about this universe. My thing was SW (still is).
When I realised that Netflix was showing all the ST series I gave it a chance and I started with TNG. I loved it. After, I watched TOS and I also loved it. Then I started watching DS9 that I also became a fan. Now I am watching the 2nd season of Voyager and I hope I will enjoy like the other ones.

I'm a passionate Trekkie fellow from Germany, I'm in my 20s and I study history. Almost one year ago, I started to really dig into Star Trek and since then, I have watched all the movies and almost all the series episodes (I'm at the third season of VOY at the moment, apart from that, I have watched everything but the animated series which might also come at some point). Of course I enjoy the entertainment elements like the humor, the space battles etc., but what fascinates me most about Star Trek are the philosophic and moral aspects. As my favorite shows I'd probably name TNG and DS9, but I really love them all, also DSC although it's quite different of course in many aspects.
Ever since I discovered my love and passion for Star Trek, I've been in search for a good and active community to share opinions, discuss the movies and episodes and such. And I have found some german communities, but they are not really that active - I don't know, maybe most of the german Trekkies got lost in the sub-space
So well, that's basically why I'm here, since I have this covered that this community seems to be quite active. It's a pleasure to be here!
Some of my other interests are history, movies and series in general (especially Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings Game Of Thrones, Marvel), foreign languages (I speak French quite fluently but am still improving it and I also learn Italian and want to learn more languages in my future) and music (especially metal, but I also listen to lots of other stuff like some classical music or movie soundtracks).

Apparently I joined here in 2011, made a few posts and then disappeared for 7 years so I figured it would be best to reintroduce myself!
I'm in my early 30s and a big Star Trek fan. Started watching TOS episodes when I was little that my mum had taped and put in our video collection. I then moved onto everything I could after that. TNG probably still being my favourite but I pretty much love them all.
I've been getting back into the books recently, having just finished the Destiny trilogy and am in the middle of 'A Stick in Time' which I'm enjoying. Nice to have some Garak stories again!
I'm from England and will be attending Destination Star Trek this November. My first Trek con so I'm looking forward to it. I may even be tempted to go in costume as I have one lying around from previous comic cons.
Anyway, its nice to see that its still friendly around here and I look forward to chatting with you all!

Hey there! I have been a Trekkie for almost 10 years when I watched “The Man Trap” at 15! I need to get my act together though, having only seen the first two seasons of TOS. Currently watching TNG but only on “Where No One Has Gone Before”. I have never been to a Trek con and have not cosplayed from Trek aside from a Janice Rand Halloween costume one year, hahaha! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I’ve watched a bit of that over a few years. Unfortunately I have not managed to watch any of the series’ from start to finish yet so I do NOT claim ANY expertise lol. Honestly I’m more into fantasy than sci-if. Like seriously, ask me ANY Harry Potter question and I can probably answer. My other interests include antique shopping, classic literature (Mark Twain, William Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas, Gaston Leroux... you know, all those old dead guys lol), bugging my pupster (I like to mess with him when he’s trying to sleep. I’m a mean mama lol), listens to music, I used to write poetry but haven’t written anything for years. Not sure what else to put so... guess I’ll just let you all get to know me through my posting!

Hello again, ENT & TNG fan here. I used to go by [trip's my guy] or Triptacular, back when Enterprise was on. Saw the announcement of a new show following Picard & it started me thinking about Trek again. I also started following 2 ENT fans on FB & Twitter & I'm enjoying seeing the pics & being reminded of the episodes again. It was such a good show!
I'm also a leader in the campaign to get the show FOREVER back for Season 2 & more. We have a big event coming up this weekend where we are trying to convince CBS All Access to pick-up FOREVER & make new seasons. I'd like to get the word out to any Trek & FOREVER fans & ask them to participate. Do I need to ask someone's permission to talk about another show here? Can I post a graphic?
