Spoilers MacGYVER reboot review thread

Crrrrrraaappppp. Google tells me Dana Elcar is no longer with us. Maybe the original Murdoc?

Or Bruce McGill, the original Jack Dalton. Or Teri Hatcher (Penny Parker).

By the way, I looked up recurring cast members from the original show, and I hadn't realized that the annoying roommate character Bozer was based on a sporadically recurring character from seasons 5-6 of the original.

Just curious: who do you think is better, the classic Murdoc or the new rebooted Murdoc? While I think the actor has done a fantastic job with the new Murdoc and has made him quite menacing and scary, I am still a bit partial towards the classic Murdoc. Sure, he really chewed the scenery but he managed to come up with some really nasty and clever traps for classic MacGyver. He really felt like MacGyver's Moriarty more so than the new Murdoc who is just a total psycho.

It would be cute if the original Murdoc appeared and saw the new Murdoc and was like "You are a complete amateur. Let me show you how it is really done."

The original 'Murdoc' (Michael DesBarres) is (probably) retired, and probably has nothing against the new one. Were you people this pissy about the new Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and the new Wo Fat (Mark Dascos)? Villainy doesn't have to be the same all of the time.

Any for anyone who doesn't know (or hasn't been watching the show regularly), Bruce McGill appeared in episode 11 of the reboot's season 2, Bullet + Pen. Michael Des Barres in season 2, episode 15, Murdoc + Handcuffs.

Bruce McGill wans't he in Rizzoli & Isles as Korsack?

I liked him in that role, and I liked Frost but the actor committed suicide which was a downer.

Was anyone else a bit disappointed with the season finale of the reboot that reveals MacGuyver's dad?
