Since there has been no destruction, I'm going to go with "No." Johnson made the film he wanted, and knew that some would be mad about it. Lucas went in to some of the PT with a similar attitude on some parts. It's part of creative work. Not everyone is going to like it. But, people are going to talk about it, good or bad.
 
See that's the problem though. I don't think Johnson knew what film he wanted to make. His only intent going in was to "be different" and yet he still managed to fall into many of the same traps.

Bullies will always move on. There is no reason that Tran should stick around if she doesn't want to.

I think he knew far more than he will ever be given credit for.

Guys, it's best to just ignore the posts of certain posters here who insist on being overly negative and bombastic because arguing with them is a fool's errand.

^ I'd thought about posting that story, but was afraid that certain posters here would pollute its awesomeness with their overly loud protestations and bombastic and ultimately false rhetoric.

This made me smile for two reasons.
 
There have been a lot of positive responses to that tweet, asking Hamil to send Tran their love, among others. I like that.

Other stars have come close or worse to the same level of abuse and have not quit social media. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if she came back in the near future.

I'm sure there's always that you can run your accounts the way you want to, while she can run her accounts the way she wants to, but that would involve not looking over her shoulder and mansplaining how she should be Interneting, a lot to ask I know.

Aw, youre trying to be cute. Pity that, romantic or not, the advice is especially true in fucking relationships.

Cos if you not prepared to ‘quit’ someone despite any possible circumstances, then it’s a pretty big fucking problem.
