BLASPHEMY! No one went to see TLJ more than once! /sarcasm

Maul survived being cut in half. Probably smart to hedge. While he's happy to claim credit for the kill, instead of embellishing his victory as most in his line of work would, he's playing it down. Which to me suggests some combination of false modesty as a way to gain trust and possibly edging his bets just in case she ever pops up again (she survived this after all!) Indeed, that whole thing reeks of a double cross.
Word of mouth is slowly working, but some people are putting it off for a week or two.
Yeah, I'm still pretty surprised by that decision, especially considering Solo is sandwiched between Infinity War and Deadpool 2 on one side and Incredibles 2 and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (albeit with a bit more breathing room on this side) on the other. Feels like a combination of bad marketing and bad scheduling hurt the film the most.It still boggles my mind that Disney didn't bump this movie to December after the change in directors. Shifting back to a less busy Christmas season would have given the movie some much needed breathing room and probably would have improved its box office. Maybe it still wouldn't have opened to $150+ million but it likely would have done better than $103 million over the four-day Memorial Day weekend. Oh well...
I enjoyed the film greatly and will undoubtedly continue to do so for years to come. Everything else is rather meaningless.
"Some People" tried to say that Disney's alleged Prequel Embargo is the reason Mustafar wasn't identified with a caption in Rogue One, despite every other planet in the movie getting one.Wouldn’t RO featuring Mustafar and Jimmy Smits-as-a-character-not-even-named-until-the-PT have already confirmed that?
Oh, who am I kidding. Of course ‘some people’ wouldn’t be convinced by that.
Yeah, I've been scratching my head on that one all along. It still boggles my mind that Disney didn't bump this movie to December after the change in directors.

Indeed. Not that I really care that much. In the end. I enjoyed the film greatly and will undoubtedly continue to do so for years to come. Everything else is rather meaningless.
I only care in the sense that I'd like to see another movie with Ehrenreich as Han, maybe showing whatever happened to him that turned him from the somewhat idealistic young man we see in Solo into the jaded, selfish person we see in A New Hope. That, or a movie focusing more on Glover as Lando having an adventure of his own. So I just worry (well, not literally worry, but you know) that neither might happen after the lukewarm box office. Maybe if it ends up having pretty good legs...Not that I really care that much. In the end. I enjoyed the film greatly and will undoubtedly continue to do so for years to come. That I can understand. I certainly want a Lando film, preferably with L3 at his side.I only care in the sense that I'd like to see another movie with Ehrenreich as Han, maybe showing whatever happened to him that turned him from the somewhat idealistic young man we see in Solo into the jaded, selfish person we see in A New Hope.
