And the Next Cancelled Show is...

There is nothing wrong with being a hardline conservative just because of an actress saying racist shit. One does not presuppose the other.

Given the state of American politics, when conservatives stay silent while racists spew their garbage, its very hard to tell when conservative ends and racism begins.

A tentpole of conservatism is to crush anything different, or new.

If you don't believe that, then maybe you are not a conservative.

They are not allowed to fight for their country because Trump is transphobic.

They are being removed... Or freed.
The military and their rules are all over the place. Like remember in M*A*S*H Klinger (sp) thought he could use such a stupid bias to get out of fighting.

Why anyone would not just be grateful for another human being willing to put their life on the line for others is missing what it's all about.

The Military was fine with it.

This was totally Trump on Twitter assuring America that he was going to save some money.

The Army spends 3 times as much on viagra than it does on Trans health support, per year.

This was big news at the time.

I don't know about statistics in reference to viagra and for Trans Male/Female health support to be honest. What the argument would be as regards budget. I do know that support is part of the service. Different emphasis and maybe not relevant but hubby was in the Navy and so was his brother. My brother-in-law had quite substantial reconstructive surgery and treatment paid for by the Navy. It is a factor but one that has been employed for a long time and available for any who serve. I would imagine the budget was already there for Trans and non Trans service men and women.

Because bigotry.

The Military was fine with transgender soldiers.

Then this.

Trump-transgender-tweets-_July-27-2017-001.jpg

There was nine minutes between the first two tweets.

America went insane.

Trump's generals were not consulted.

Viagra costs 82 million per year, transgender health issues cost between 2.4 and 8.4 million per year.

It might have been ignorance?

It might have been an ignorant old man who would not listen to his own bean counters, about the real fiscal costs of the world surrounding Donny... Or he's a bigot.

Not to dilute your argument supporting Transgender soldiers but since you brought up old men it is worth showing a little perspective regards the viagra costs. To be fair...

"It is true that some of the erectile dysfunction medication went to active-duty personnel.

But the vast majority went to other groups eligible, including millions of military retirees and their family members. In fact, around 10 million people in total are estimated to be covered by the Pentagon's healthcare system, which cost $52bn in 2012.

It is well known that erectile dysfunction is more common among older men - which would explain a hefty bill for retired service members.

In fact, less than 10% of the prescriptions were for active duty personnel, according to the Military Times."
