And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Lethal Weapon: Clayne Crawford out, Seann William Scott in

Fox’s Lethal Weapon has pulled the trigger on hiring a new co-lead, tapping American Pie‘s Seann William Scott to replace fired star Clayne Crawford, TVLine has learned. With Scott — who will be playing a new character (possibly Riggs’ brother) — in place, Fox has renewed Lethal Weapon for a third season. Additionally, Warner Bros. confirms in a statement that it has officially “decided not to renew” Crawford’s contract.

Sean William Scott sounds a good choice. Still doesn't make me want to watch the show but who knows. Maybe if I somehow get done and watch what seems to be a hundred shows on my, to watch, list that I haven't been able to get to I could maybe give it a chance someday.

Someone on Twitter said they should now rename Lethal Weapon to Dude, Where's My Lethal Weapon? I thought that was pretty funny. Scott was in the movie Dude, Where's My Car? in case someone doesn't know that.

The news sites are sure using the word recast wrong in regards to Lethal Weapon since it's been confirmed Scott isn't playing Martin Riggs.

Maybe they should just go nuts and let Scott play another cop from the Warner library. Harry Callahan? Marion Cobretti? Nick Frescia? Truman Gates?

So they basically doing a Coy and Vance form the "Dukes of Hazard" on the show then.

Bo and Luke were innocent.

They just asked for a raise, becuase the show was doing so well.

The Network reply was "Nope, the Car is the real star of the show, you can go now."

I keep trying to reconcile Neil Hamilton and Ben McKenzie's portrayals of Jim Gordon.

Jim has to know Bruce is Batman, and isn't worried about the rogues gallery, because they're all a bunch of old doddering men now, like he is... Because Arkham Asylum is "code" for Arkham nursing home.

I'm so sad about Kevin Probably Saves the World! It was one of those unexpectedly great shows, funny and heartwarming. And really showcased Jason Ritter's excellent acting skills.

I'm also sad about The Exorcist. Another show that I wasn't expecting much from, but I found myself watching it first as soon as it popped up on the DVR. It was ridiculous but so very entertaining.

Two great shows, lost. :(
